Furrever Puppies

Quality, health, temperament, and love are just a few of the standards by which we raise all of our puppies. We follow the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) protocol during the first few weeks of life to help puppies build strong neural connections and desensitize them to early handling. Our litters are socialized with our other dogs and as many people as possible from an early age. They are also exposed to the outdoors (if weather permits) in our backyard and enjoy an abundance of fun toys to help desensitize them to objects and obstacles. Litters are kept in an enclosure in my room and have access to toys, food, water, beds, a patch of Astro-turf grass, and a dog door to encourage successful potty training. We keep out litters for a minimum of 8 weeks (usually 9) before they are ready to leave, and sometimes up to 10 weeks to ensure the best possible start for them. By the time they are ready to join their new families, our puppies have been examined by our Veterinarian, have received their first shots, are dewormed, have begun potty training, can usually use a dog door or know where the door is, and have begun learning basic obedience.

My breeding program has been verified through GoodDog.com: The Responsible Breeder's Program. We do genetic testing on all of our dogs prior to breeding; clearing them for JHC (juvenile hereditary cataracts), DM (degenerative myelopathy), Patellar Luxation (rDVM), and disposition. Our females are usually bred once per year and remain with our family after retirement. Our males also remain with us after retirement. We breed for the love of the breed, temperament, health, quality, and confirmation. There's nothing like a Boston!
